This emergency vehicle operator course (Fire & EMS) is developed from the National Standard Department of Transportation Curriculum. This is a program that can be used in a variety of settings and organizations to meet fire apparatus and ambulance training needs. This course consists of instructor led training as well as a driving practice exercise. This course will challenge apparatus drivers from the novice to the experienced driver. New Jersey lights and sirens regulations will be covered in depth.

TIM consists of a planned and coordinated multi-disciplinary process to detect, respond to, and clear traffic incidents so that traffic flow may be restored as safely and quickly as possible. Effective TIM reduces the duration and impacts of traffic incidents and improves the safety of motorists, crash victims and emergency responders.
